Narrato lets you privately record all of your activities, then curate them into journals that can be shared privately or publicly on your terms.

Use Narrato to record your thoughts, dreams, activities, exercises, moods, food, or anything else youd like to remember.

The Narrato LifeStream helps you import your activities from all of the online social services you already use and love, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Foursquare and Moves. If you use an iPhone 5S, 6 or 6 Plus, you can also record your daily step count from the M7 or M8 Motion co-processor.

If you want to remember something that doesnt belong on other networks, effortlessly add thoughts, photos, moods, and locations directly into Narrato using our beautiful in-app tools.

Curate your activities into journals based on topics and events. Narrato is private by default, but you can choose to publish selected journals online for others to enjoy. Once a journal is published online, you get a unique URL that you can share with close friends and family. If you want more people to see your published journal, you can share it with friends on your favorite social networks.

Narrato’s unique mix of being private first, with the option of controlled sharing makes much more possible. Share your holiday journal with friends, one about your kids with your family, and keep your selfies journal completely private.

Everything you add to Narrato is synced across all of your devices, so you can add entries from your iPhone while out and about, then kick back and browse through them on your iPad when you get home.

Pros and cons of Narrato app for iPhone and iPad

Narrato app good for

Among several diaries available for iOS, I found Narrato features very impressive. It allows every type of register, from location to text to pictures, has autosave features and shares the diaries among iOS devices and a blog. Its interface with Foursquare is a must. But it has two serious drawback: 1) pictures within the application are limited to a low resolution 0.7-megapixels (1024x765) images. Pictures imported from Camera Roll also have their size reduced to 0.7-megapixel even if you have a iPhone 5 capable of taking 8-megapixel pictures. 2) pictures exported or saved from the application to Camera Roll also have their georeference tags removed and can not be located anymore on a map!
Very good for writing your diary and records. Slow synchronizing with other medias. Recommend!
Narrato is a journaling app for your iPhone. And it does that very good. Journal entries are displayed like a stream, so you always have your latest entries on top of the page. Take a photo and Narrato lists it in your LifeStream. Choose a photo, add a comment and done. Simple as that. I like it very much and will use it every day. :-)
Easy to use, clean layout. Really love it this far:) Great job!
Its great and easy to use. The only problem is that it doesnt view all my photos from camera upload. I only see photos starting from August 3, 2016. Why is that and can this be solved?
I think my experience would be better if we could follow other peoples journals I understand that maybe some people wouldnt want people to see some things thats why we should maybe also have the choice to make it private or un-private so everyone can read it. That is just my suggestion for the next game but other than that its amazing!!

Some bad moments

I used this app everyday and was able to sync with my IPad initially. It no longer syncs and when I used the reset option it deleted every entry I had. The synchronize option does not work either and my request for support was left unanswered. Would not recommend this app as it is not reliable.
I really like this app. I track my weight & exercise, work life, personal life, moods, etc. Great to look back on.
Easy app to use for capturing a photo and a few words. Lets you select a date to go with photo or use date of photo.
No auto imports. You go through the combined list of all tweets, IG pics, camera roll, etc -- up to you to remember what you previously imported. Blow that & you get dupes, with no readily discernible way to delete. Fortunately, I found Momento which does it right. Just wish I had discovered Momento first. Would have spared serious aggravation.
I love how it reminds me to journal. Once the photo problem gets sorted out, it will be my top used app.
I quit using Momento because it did not have an auto backup feature and I lost months of entries because of that. Then I found this app. Journal has an amazing interface, reminds me to write, has a tons of auto imports and its fast and never freezes. I feel like writing almost every single day and I am amazed on how the app is better than others on this topic.
